On DE-Stress 302, host Alena Duggan and The CAUSE Production Crew produced a Delaware-centric podcast all about mental health. In episode 1, they are joined by Delaware Governor Matt Meyer. Governor Meyer is a former public school math teacher and small business owner who served as New Castle County Executive from 2017 through January 2025. Building on initiatives begun by Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall‑Long, Meyer reconvened and broadened the Behavioral Health Consortium. This group develops statewide strategies to address mental health and addiction challenges. He has also contributed in different ways to suicide prevention, police mental health, and more.
