On DE-Stress 302, host Alena Duggan and The CAUSE Production Crew produced a Delaware-centric podcast all about mental health. Today’s episode is with Wendy Eastburn-Teal. Wendy's greatest blessing has been to be a mother to 5 grown children and "Gidget" to 3 grandsons. Currently, she donates her time to volunteering in various mental health, suicide and grief causes. On Jan 2, 2022, Wendy found her youngest son deceased at 18. He had taken his life. She is in the process of creating a nonprofit to write mental health legislation, provide peer group support, assist in circumstances around the death of a child, and support a scholarship in her son's name. It is very important to Wendy that we do not isolate in our darkest moments.
